Remanently
    Issues and rentals

Do you know exactly who has the equipment, when it should be returned and in what condition it came back last time?

Remanently brings order to requests, reservations, issues, accountability, documents and equipment returns.

This helps you use equipment better, limit unnecessary replacements and control consumables more easily. You effectively lower costs at every stage.

Team managing warehouse inventory with RFID UHF devices — automated asset and tool tracking

    Easy to manage

    3x more efficient operations

Better equipment control is not just fewer losses. It's longer use of what you already have.

When you know who is using equipment, in what condition it was issued and in what condition it came back, people take better care of it. Equipment can work longer without premature replacement, and consumables are used more consciously.

    Equipment works longer

Clear accountability for issue and return supports better care of equipment and limits premature replacement.

    Fewer unnecessary purchases

You make better use of what the company already has, instead of buying new equipment just because the current one is poorly managed or hard to find.

    Consumables under greater control

You can better link consumable usage to actual equipment use, limiting excessive or unjustified consumption.

This is not just accountability records.

Better care of equipment, longer use without the need for replacement and better use of consumables translate directly into the cost of owning equipment.

Equipment costs money even when it is poorly used.

The problem is not only that something cannot be found. Cost also arises when equipment is treated worse, replaced prematurely, bought unnecessarily despite availability, or when consumables are used without control.

    01

It's not known who has the equipment

Equipment was issued, but later you have to ask people who last used it.

    02

It's not known if the equipment will be available

Someone needs the equipment on a specific date, but it's not known whether it has already been reserved or when it will come back.

    03

    No one feels responsible

If it's hard to point to a specific user, it's also easier for equipment in custody to be treated worse.

    04

    Equipment is replaced too early

Lack of usage and condition history makes it hard to assess whether equipment truly needs replacing, or can still be used safely.

    05

    Consumables disappear without context

It's not always known how much material should actually be consumed for specific equipment and usage.

    06

The return says nothing about condition

Equipment came back, but it's not always known whether it is complete and ready for the next use.

From a request to a confirmed return.

The process can start even before issuing: with a request or reservation of equipment for a specific time. Then you identify the resource, issue it to an employee or customer, confirm accountability, and record its condition on return.

    1. You reserve

You check availability, submit a request or reserve equipment for a specific time.

    2. You identify and issue

You scan a QR code, barcode or RFID and issue a specific resource to an employee or customer.

    3. You confirm

You fill in the document or form related to the issue.

    4. You sign

A handwritten signature can be given directly on the screen of a smartphone or iPhone.

    5. You return

You identify the equipment and record that it came back to the company or the rental point.

    6. You assess condition

You know whether the equipment is complete, functional and ready for the next use.

Need equipment tomorrow? Reserve it today.

You don't have to wait to choose equipment until the moment it is physically issued. You can submit a request in advance or reserve a specific resource for a specific time.

    Requests

You can report in advance what equipment you need and for how long.

    Reservation for a specific time

A specific resource can be reserved for the indicated period before it is physically issued.

    Availability

Before issuing, you check whether the equipment is available and whether its use does not collide with another reservation.

Availability is not only the question: "is the equipment on site right now?".

It also matters whether it is not already reserved for the time it will be needed.

Don't retype the equipment number. Scan it.

At issue and return, you can quickly identify specific equipment with a QR code, barcode or RFID. The operator does not have to search a long list or manually retype its number.

    QR and barcode

You scan the label with a smartphone/iPhone and immediately work on the correct resource during issue or return.

    RFID

Where there is a lot of equipment and speed matters, RFID speeds up resource identification without manually retyping labels.

    Fewer mistakes

The operation applies to a specific identified resource, making it easier to avoid a situation where a different unit was issued in the system than in reality.

QR, barcode and RFID are not only for stocktaking.

They also speed up daily equipment flow: identification, issuing to an employee or customer, and later return.

The document is created right where you actually hand over the equipment.

You don't have to go back to a desk, print a report and later match a scan to a specific resource.

    Handwritten signature on screen

An employee or customer can give a handwritten signature directly on a smartphone or iPhone screen.

    Document attached to the resource

A report, form or other document stays linked to a specific issue and piece of equipment.

    Accountability history

Later you can see who received a given resource, when, and on what basis.

Less paper is only part of the benefit.

What matters more is that accountability, the document and the history stay together with the specific equipment.

You can issue equipment to employees or rent it to customers.

The same equipment and the same mechanism of reservation, identification, issue and return can work in different scenarios. The recipient and the business context change.

    Equipment issued to employees

You know who has the equipment, when they took it, in what condition it was, and whether they later returned it.

    • equipment
    • work gear
    • devices assigned to employees

    Equipment rented to customers

Equipment doesn't have to be issued only to employees. You can also reserve and rent it to customers, keeping information about the recipient, rental period, issue and return.

    • tools
    • vehicles or other resources
    • customer-related documents
    See the rental industry

Before you issue equipment, you need to know exactly what you are issuing.

Tools naturally connect with Asset Management. First you have a record, location and history of the resource. Then you add reservation, accountability, issue and return.

    One equipment record

You don't create a separate resource just because it started being issued to employees or customers.

    Accountability

Asset Management shows what the company owns. The issuing process shows who is currently using a specific piece of equipment.

    Full history

Location, reservations, users, issues, returns and equipment condition make up the resource's history.

    See Asset Management

The equipment came back. Should it go straight to the next user?

A return should answer whether the equipment is still functional, complete and ready for work.

    Condition on return

You record the condition in which the equipment came back from an employee or customer.

    Further use

If the equipment is functional, it can go back into circulation instead of being needlessly replaced.

    Service and repair

If the equipment needs work, you can move to the CMMS process and its technical history.

    See CMMS

Equipment is one thing. The materials it consumes are a second cost.

If consumables are tied to the use of specific equipment, it's worth seeing them in the same context.

    Consumption has context

It's easier to understand why a material was used up if you know with which equipment and usage it was needed.

    Less excessive consumption

Better accountability and visibility of usage supports more conscious use of consumables.

    If the material is stock

If consumables are also to be controlled in the warehouse, WMS is a natural extension.

    See WMS

Issuing to an employee or renting to a customer? Either way, you know exactly to whom.

The recipient of equipment doesn't have to be an employee. Remanently can also handle equipment rentals to customers, linking a specific resource with a specific recipient.

    Employee or customer

Equipment can be issued to an employee or rented to a specific customer. You know who is currently using a given resource.

    Rental history

You can see what a given employee or customer previously received, when the equipment was issued and when it was returned.

    CRM

If renting is part of broader customer service, you can link the equipment history with the sales process and information about the contractor.

    See CRM

The owner wants to use equipment longer. The worker wants to reserve and pick up a tool quickly, while the person issuing it wants a smooth handover and return.

    If you manage the company

You want equipment to be used better, work longer and not require replacement earlier than really needed.

    • better care of equipment
    • longer usage time
    • fewer unnecessary purchases
    • better control of consumables
    • clear accountability for equipment
    See the owner's perspective

    If you handle issues

You need to quickly know what is available, what is already reserved, who to issue equipment to, how to confirm receipt and what to do on return.

    • you take requests and reservations
    • you identify equipment via QR, barcode or RFID
    • you issue a specific resource to an employee or customer
    • you collect a signature on a smartphone/iPhone
    • you record the return and condition
    • you know whether the equipment can go back into circulation
    See the operational perspective

We start the rollout with your rules: what you issue, to whom and for how long.

Not from a "rental module". From the real process: who needs equipment, for when, what you issue, to whom, how you identify the resource, how you confirm accountability and what happens on return.

    1. Equipment

We determine which resources are to be reserved, issued or rented.

    2. Recipients

    Employees, customers, or both scenarios.

    3. Reservations

We determine how requests are submitted and how equipment is reserved for a specific time.

    4. Identification

We choose the identification method: QR, barcode or RFID.

    5. Issue and return

We set up documents, signature, return registration and condition assessment.

    6. Next process

If the return leads to service, warehouse materials or customer service, we connect the right solution.
