Describe more than one amount
The condition may require named categories, quantities or a proportion of the basket. State exactly what is required and over which period.
If conditions must be met together, make this explicit. “Relationship development bonus” alone cannot support a repeatable calculation.
Define product eligibility
Participating products need clear identities. Renaming a category or moving a product should not accidentally change historical settlement.
Retain the scope applicable to the period. If substitutions or new items are allowed, define their inclusion rule rather than deciding only when calculating the final total.
Show which part of the goal was achieved
Instead of a single yes-or-no result, show the conditions and supporting data. This makes it possible to explain what was achieved and what remained missing.
For a sales manager, this supports discussion of actual relationship development. Trade Marketing can combine turnover, quantities and purchasing mix. A reliable calculation still depends on agreed rules and consistent assignment of transactions to products and periods, rather than treating high overall sales as proof that every condition was fulfilled.
