Use actual loads

Materials, tag positions, packaging and movement matter. Metal components can behave differently from liquid-containing products.

Include common variants and difficult cases. One carefully arranged pallet does not represent every future delivery through the station.

Compare against an independent contents list

Know the actual load before the trial. Afterwards, identify missed tags and objects outside the transaction, including equipment standing nearby.

Reading the same tag repeatedly does not create additional items. Check how readings connect with the passage and when they become a receipt or issue confirmation.

Practise discrepancy handling

An incomplete result needs verification. The operator should know what requires manual confirmation and who resolves the exception. Measure the entire operation, including corrections.

For an IT director, pilot results establish solution requirements. WMS needs reliable stock movements. RFID can support identification, but performance must be verified under real conditions with agreed exception handling. The outcome should explain which loads and working conditions were tested rather than imply every possible pallet will produce the same result.
